KARACHI: (HRNW) On the opening day, at the Arena Club Karsaz, school category competitions were held. Athar Associate Director Sales Muhammad Ayaz inaugurated the event,
Mohammad Ayaz, on the occasion, termed Ten Pin bowling the fastest growing sport in Pakistan. He also congratulated the entire nation on the historic victory of the Green Shirts against India in the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup, adding that the popularity of cricket is a reality however other sports also need to be promoted.
On the first day, more than 500 students were in action in the first round of the school category.
More than 1,200 players will be in action in the four different categories of the tournament: singles, amateurs, students and media, today while a session has also been reserved for the Deaf Special Children.
Singles Category: 75 players
Emergence category: 50 players
Student Category: 1000 students from 100 schools will be in action.
The 6th PTBF Ranking Ten Pin Bowling Tournament will be held till October 30th
