The Supreme Court has given 4 weeks to demolish the Tijori heights

KARACHI: (HRNW) The Karachi Registry of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has given four weeks to demolish the Tijori heights built on railway land.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed heard the case. During the hearing, Raza Rabbani, counsel for the builder of the Tijori heights, told the court that the builders were willing to demolish the building of the Tijori heights, for which appropriate time should be given.

Chief Justice of Pakistan said that they are giving 2 weeks to drop the safe. Lawyer Raza Rabbani said that the time of 2 weeks is very short on which the court gave 4 weeks for demolition of the building. The court also ordered the victims to return the money within three months.

The Supreme Court directed the commissioner to oversee the demolition process of Karachi Tijori heights. Raza Rabbani, counsel for Tijori heights, told the court that the building was in the custody of the Commissioner Karachi and permission should be granted to extract the record of allotments from the office in the building.

The Supreme Court directed the Commissioner Karachi to hand over all the records to the petitioner, make a list of them and submit the list of goods along with the report at the next hearing.
