Karachi: Two gang members arrested for robbing goods vehicles

Karachi (HRNW) Karachi police have arrested two members of a gang who looted goods vehicles. The arrested suspects include a police officer.
Police said that the accused used to seize the vehicles carrying goods by introducing customs intelligence. The group of accused consists of five to six workers. A Suzuki pickup full of goods was recovered from the arrested accused.
Police officials said that the arrested policeman was posted at Nazimabad police station. The accused used to set up fake customs checkpoints on the highways and seize vehicles laden with goods. Newtown police have registered a case against the arrested suspects and launched an investigation.
