Breast cancer is becoming more common in women: Syma Nadeem

KARACHI: (HRNW) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member National Assembly and Federal Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, Syma Nadeem, on the instructions of Begum Samina Alvi, wife of the H.E President of Pakistan Dr.Arif Alvi, organized a breast cancer awareness campaign at Hira Foundation School in Darul Uloom Karachi. Begum Samina Arif Alvi, wife of the President of Pakistan, graced the occasion as the chief guest and encouraged the students and teachers to take this message forward to help each other. On the occasion, Begum Samina Arif Alvi, wife of the President of Pakistan, said that the disease has increased in the last 10 years and urgent steps need to be taken to reduce it. Due to this campaign of Begum Arif Alvi, almost all the hospitals are conducting free check-ups in the month of October. Speaking on the occasion, MNA Syma Nadeem said that there are many breast cancer patients in Pakistan because women do not talk openly about the disease. Early diagnosis can control the disease. The exact cause of breast cancer is not yet known. Breast cancer is becoming more common in women. MNA Syma Nadeem added that women in Pakistan between the ages of 30 and 40 are getting breast cancer which needs to be controlled. Due to this aggressive campaign run by Begum Samina Alvi sahiba wife of the President of Pakistan one finds almost all school and colleges playing their role in the awareness campaign. Lady Health Workers are going door to door to the people in Quetta. A universal number has also been opened on which Lady Doctor can be consulted by calling. Malls and Clinics through out the country are following this campaign now.
