Prime Minister Imran Khan aims to tackle opposition like a ‘sportsman’

Islamabad (HRNW) As the government sets the stage for a joint session of the parliament in Islamabad today, Prime Minister Imran Khan intends to tackle the opposition like a sportsman and defeat them.

Speaking to the media, shortly before the session, the premier claimed that he was not meeting anyone.

“You are conducting so many meetings. Are you worried about something despite having a majority?” asked a reporter. “Who is meeting people?” replied PM Imran.

“When a sportsman is on the field, he is always ready for every outcome and aims to do better than his opponent,” said the premier as he made his way to chair Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) parliamentary meeting.
