Situation of the country is becoming worsen and complicated day by day: Shazia Marri

Karachi: (HRNW) Central Information Secretary PPP-P and MNA Shazia Atta Marri has said that the situation of the country is becoming worsen and complicated day by day and recently a Sri Lankan citizen was brutally killed by a mob in Sialkot and that incident made Pakistanis bow down their heads in shame. It was regrettable and highly condemable act of brutality and PPP had already expressed it’s grave concern and deep sorrows on this incident while a federal minster of ruling party made an irresponsible statement on the Sialkot tragedy and we strongly condemn his statement. If this kind of mentality would prevail in country then Pakistan will be harmed and now PTI’s gang has to send back to homes.

Ms Marri said that Imran Khan during his 126-days long sit-in often used to wave the reports of Transparency International and termed politicians and previous governments as most corrupt, but now he has to read the survey report of Transparency International Pakistan in which majority of Pakistanis have opinioed that inflation & unemployment rate has been remained highest during the three years rule of PTI led government in the comparison of last three governments. More than 85 percent of people found that PTI-led federal government’s self claimed accountability remained unsatisfactory and 66.8% of Pakistanis believed that present PTI’s government accountability campaign is partial. This she expressed in a joint Press Conference alongwith Spokesperson of Sindh Government, Barriester Murtaza Wahab held at Clifton Karachi hereon today.

She said that government’s slogan of accountability is merely a drama because NAB’s Chairman has not been abled to provide any evidence of the recovery of Rs 821 billion in two years and even he didn’t appear before the National Assembly’s public accounts committee for answering on the recovery of 821 billions and the Supreme Court of Pakistan has also declared NAB’s accountability unilateral because NAB is being used for political engineering and victimization of opposition parties. She added that according to the recent survery report approximately 93% of people said that inflation is highest in present government as compared to the previous three governments but Imran Khan Niazi had said that the country is still cheapest in the world while country’s 6 billion dollars had been mortgaged to the International Monetary Fund.

She added that Imran Khan and his cabinet ministers often talk lies with the people of Pakistan. On this occasion, Spokesperson of Sindh government and administrator Karachi,

Murtaza Wahab addressing the press conference said that PTI’s government has been dealing Sindh province with double standard and it must be stopped now. This will not be happened now and it is time for people to against double standard of PTI government.

He added that the situation of the country is worsen and people are worried on price hikes, they are facing accute gas and electricity load shedding in the country but government has no care of the people. Murtaza Wahab said that the prices of oil approximately 16% had reduced globally a month ago but PTI government has not yet reduced petrol prices in the country as it is a government of selected people while inflation, unemployment, poverty and hunger have become the biggest problem of the country but government is failed to deliver the masses.

While answering a question regarding the new local government bill he said that whatever the legislation is being carried out regarding the local government system in Sindh province, the intention of Sindh government is to introduce balanced local government system in which municipal powers would be transferred to at lower levels.
