New local government law being given political color: Nasir Shah

Karachi (HRNW) Sindh Provincial Minister for Local Government Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the politics of some people is over and they are giving political color to the new law of local government. He said that Urdu speakers are our brothers and linguistics is being spread by calling them immigrants.

Talking to reporters in the Sindh Assembly, he said that there was historical inflation and unemployment in the country while industries and common people were facing difficulties.

Nasir Shah said that the new law of local government has been brought. Leaders whose politics are over are giving political color to this new law. The local government system is much improved.

Regarding the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the PPP leader said that the leader with whom the MQM had expressed disassociation should not go to him again. Conditions in the city improved with great sacrifices, and today we are at peace.

Nasir Shah said that such statements are not appropriate for the country and the province. PTI has government in two provinces while Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have different laws for local government. Has PTI brought this ordinance in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in consultation?
