Karachi (HRNW): AVLC police arrested a member of a car snatching gang after a police encounter. Accused’s accomplice escaped. A stolen car and a pistol were recovered from the possession of the accused.
The 14-member gang snatched the cars after renting them out.
During the arrest of AVLC, one accused Waqar was injured and a car and a pistol were recovered. Accused’s accomplices fled.
The arrested accused Waqar Junejo was in possession of car number BNU-481 Suzuki Hustler and not theft from site B whose case number is 418/2022. Cases of police encounter and arms export are being registered in Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station.
