Excise Police Shikarpur operation. 22 kg chars recovered. One accused arrested.

Karachi.(HRWN) Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Shikarpur Excise Police led by Excise and Taxation Officer Rahim Bakhsh Sanjrani searched the suspicious truck number E-2822 and recovered 22 kg chars .An accused Ghulam Shabir resident of Dera Ismail Khan was also arrested. The accused was going to Karachi with chars. A case has been registered against the accused and investigation has been started while the truck used in smuggling has also been impounded. Meanwhile in a statement, congratulating on the successful operation, Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department & Parliamentary Affairs and Food Mukesh Kumar Chawla expressed hope that the officers would continue their crackdown on drug dealers with the same diligence and dedication.
