Karachi (HRNW) : A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Public Aid Committee was called on Jam Ikramullah Dharejo Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department at his office on Thursday regarding issues in Cooperative Societies.
Jamaat-e-Islami delegation was consisted of Syed Qutb, Hamad Bhutto and Zahir Hussain while Registrar Cooperative Housing Societies Riaz Sehto and Sub-Registrar Naveed Abbasi were also present in the meeting. Jamaat-e-Islami delegation briefed the provincial minister about their grievances regarding the encroachments in cooperative housing societies.
Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that there were complaints of encouragement and illegal occupation in cooperative housing societies. Action is being taken against illegal occupation in housing societies. Hopefully good results will come out. He said, ‘ There are also complaints regarding doubling of plots. Mechanisms for redressal of grievances have been introduced ‘ . Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that people should get complete information from the concerned institutions before buying and selling in any cooperative housing society so that they can keep their valuable capital safe.
