Several Indian fishermen arrested in Pakistani waters

Karachi (HRNW) PMSA has launched a focus operation by the name OPS MUTAID to protect Pakistani fishermen near sir creek as it was reported that Indian agencies deliberatly arrest Pakistani fishermen well with in the Pakistani waters
During this operation, on 05 February 22, PMSA Ship apprehended two Indian fishing vessels namely MERAJ ALI with 07 x crew and AL AHAD with 06 x crew, which were engaged in poaching.
These boats were located well inside pakistani EEZ when taken into custody. It is worth mentioning that the indian boats came all over from okha which is more then 70 NM from Pakistan . This act is deliberate poaching in our rich resource indus delta region.
The boats were towed to Karachi for further legal proceedings in violation of Pakistani law and UN Convention on Law of the Sea.
