Suspected TTP suicide bomber killed in Tank operation: ISPR

Tank (HRNW) In an intelligence-based operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank on Sunday, the security forces killed an alleged member of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the suspect was a “suicide bomber”.

The operation was conducted on a tipoff received by the Pakistan Army. Personnel of the army are searching and clearing the area.

In another operation in North Waziristan’s Datta Khel, two “terrorists” were killed. A huge cache of weapons and explosives were seized from their hideout as well.

The men were involved in target killing and extortion, the army’s media wing added.

Meanwhile, security forces have completed the clearance operations which began after terrorists attacked FC camps in Panjgur and Noshki earlier this week.

Twenty terrorists, including two most-wanted, have been killed in the operation which lasted 72 hours. Nine soldiers including one officer and one junior commissioned officer (JCO) embraced martyrdom while six were injured.
