Best ministers: Murad tops the chart, Fawad didn’t make it

Islamabad (HRNW) Prime Minister Imran Khan awarded Thursday appreciation certificates to ten ministers for their outstanding performance in the fields.

Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed topped the Best Performing Ministries list while the Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry failed to secure any position among the top 10.

Federal Planning and Development Minister and NCOC chief Asad Umar secured the second position followed by PM’s aide Sania Nishtar on third.

The prime minister highlighted the importance of reward and punishment rule for ministries to perform better and better.

“No system will be successful if there is no reward and punishment rule,” he said. “If a private hospital with fewer pay scales performs better than a government one it is because the private sector evaluates employees on their performance.”

He congratulated the communication minister for his outstanding performance and asked all the ministries to do more.

In order of their performance, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood, Federal Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari, Federal Industries and Production Minister Hammad Azhar and Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid are among the top 10 list.
