Imran Khan meets President Putin before delegation-level talks

Moscow (HRNW) Prime Minister Imran Khan has met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at Kremlin to discuss bilateral relations and other international and regional issues.

The one-on-one meeting between the two leaders lasted about three hours. The two leaders discussed Islamophobia, Afghanistan, and other regional and international issues as well as bilateral relations.

The Russian president also hosted a luncheon for Imran Khan.

Imran Khan’s responded with a smile to a question about the outcome of the meeting.

After the meeting, PM Imran Khan is holding delegation-level talks with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Valentinovich Novak, Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry tweeted.

The talks are being held at the hotel where the Pakistani delegation is staying, he said.

On his Russia visit, the prime minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar, Energy Minister Hammad Azhar, Commerce Advisor Abdur Razzak Dawood, National Security Advisor Moeed Yusuf and Amir Kiani.
