Karachi (HRNW) Karachi police have arrested a mother and daughter who fled after dumping the body of a newborn girl, including the mother of the newborn who had thrown the newborn in a moving ambulance to cover up her guilt.
According to the police, two women who fled after throwing a newborn baby in Frere area two days ago have been arrested. The arrested women are mother and daughter.
Accused Neha, daughter of Shankar, gave birth to a baby girl inside the ambulance of a private hospital in Delhi Colony.
To cover up her guilt, the accused had mercilessly thrown the body of a newborn girl out of the window of an ambulance on Chaudhry Khaliq-ul-Zaman Road and fled.
Both the accused women have been arrested with the help of CCTV footage.
After conducting postmortem and other legal proceedings of the newborn girl, the body has been kept in a hidden cold storage.
