COAS mingles with people at Pakistan Day parade

Islamabad (HRNW) At the end of the military parade held on Pakistan Day, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa walked to the people in the stands, shook hands and mingled with them.

The COAS was about to leave when some people from the stands tried to get closer to him. He forbade the SSG commandos deployed on his security from stopping the people and walked towards them. TV footage shows him beckoning his guards to step back.

The COAS shook hands with the people and patted the cheeks of several

teenagers. He placed his hand on the heads of young women.
A large number of youths were anxious to meet the COAS.

Gen Bajwa spoke to the people one by one and inquired about their well being.
