KARACHI: During the hearing of the case of creation of portions in Gulshan-e-Zafar Sindhi Muslim Society, the court raised questions on the legality of portions.
Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi said that making portions is tantamount to destroying Karachi. Twenty families are being relocated instead of one family. The court asked what will happen to water, electricity and gas facilities? From the portions, the car will not have a place to park the motorcycle.
Advocate SBCA Nasir Rizwan Khan told the court that the third and fourth floors are being constructed on Plot No. A / One. Petitioner Amir Dada bought the first and second floor.
Amir Dada and others in their petition sought to stop further construction in the portions on Plot No. A / 15. The builder is illegally constructing more floors on the plot.
The court sought arguments on the legality of the portions.
