Karachi (HRNW): A police encounter took place during a joint operation of Nazimabad Operation and Investigation Police.
Nazimabad Investigation and Operation Police had reached Papushnagar to trace the accused in the blind murder of Shakir Ali son of Sabir Ali who was killed in a street crime incident within the limits of Nazimabad on technical grounds.
The accused opened fire on the police while trying to make an arrest. Both the accused were injured in the retaliatory firing and were arrested. The arrested injured accused were identified as Shakeel and Iqbal. A 9mm pistol loaded magazine and a TT pistol 30 bore loaded magazine, a mobile phone and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.
