Karachi (HRNW) In view of the recent terrorist incidents and possible threats in Karachi, the Sindh government has imposed Section 144 across the province.
According to the notification issued by the Home Department, in view of the current law and order situation in Sindh, it has been decided to implement Section 144.
The notification said that a letter was written by IG Sindh to the Home Department.
The notification said that while political and other elements are planning operations, anti-state elements may try to take advantage of the situation.
The notification further said that gathering of more than 5 persons has been banned. Any gathering or demonstration will also be banned.
Apart from this, holding rallies for 30 days will also be banned in the province. The SHO of the concerned police station will be able to take action.
