Karachi (HRNW) The Sindh High Court has expressed anger over the new constructions in Frere Hall and other archeological buildings and ordered an immediate halt to them.
The civil suit filed against the new constructions in the historic buildings declared as archeological hearing was heard in the Sindh High Court on Monday, June 20.
On this occasion, the High Court has issued show cause notice to Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab on new constructions within the limits of Ferrier Hall and sought clarification.
The court also restrained Administrator Karachi from interfering in heritage buildings in the city. The court immediately demolished the gate being constructed in Ferrier Hall and demanded a report.
