KARACHI (HRNW) Karachi Police released performance report during last week.
There were 17 encounters between police and robbers in the city, 01 robber was killed in the exchange of fire while 29 robbers including 20 injured robbers were arrested.
27 pistols, 14 motorcycles and 05 mobile phones were recovered from the arrested accused while the recovered weapons have been sent for forensics.
A total of more than 786 accused were arrested during raids in East, West and South Zones of Karachi.
Police recovered 83 kg 13 grams of hashish, 02 kg 666 grams of heroin and 763 grams of ice worth lakhs of rupees from different areas.
More than 133 different types of illegal weapons and ammunition used in looting from citizens and other incidents were taken into custody from the arrested street criminals.
A total of 74 stolen motorcycles and 01 vehicle were taken into custody by the Karachi Police while conducting operations in different areas.
