Karachi (HRNW) SBP BSC Karachi conducted an Awareness Session on Dairy & Cattle Farming at Bhains Colony Karachi in collaboration with UBL for local livestock and dairy farmers. Mr. Rizwan Khaleel Shamsi, Sr. DCM, chaired session. Partner banks, Livestock & Fisheries Department, TPL Insurance Company and Chairman of Dairy and Cattle Famers Association attended session. More than 50 dairy and cattle farmers attended the program. They were informed about the initiatives undertaken by SBP for promotion of agriculture sector. Senior representatives from UBL, HBL, MCB and Bank Islami briefed the participants about available loans schemes for farmers. They were guided about steps and requirements for availing finance from banks. Queries related to loans and insurance were addressed thoroughly at the end.
