SFA to launch mobile food testing lab soon.DG Imran Bhatti

Karachi (HRNW) Director General Sindh Food Authority Imran Bhatti has said that Sindh Food Authority believes in providing unadulterated food items to the citizens of the province and the cooperation of all relevant stakeholders will be sought to achieve this goal. He said this while presiding over a meeting with the members of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry at the office of the association. KATI President Faraz ur Rehman, Senior Vice President Nighat Awan, Vice President Muslim Mohammadi and other office bearers were also present on this occasion.

During the meeting, Director General Sindh Food Authority listened to the problems of the association and assured every possible effort to solve their problems. Apart from this, he assured that the process of food license would be done online and said that legal action would be taken according to the Sindh Food Authority Act against those dealing in food items without obtaining license. Director General Sindh Food Authority Imran Bhatti further said that SFA would also start a mobile food testing lab soon and awareness seminars would be organized in collaboration with business organizations through which food business operators would be given awareness on food safety.
