Infrastructure of industrial zones of Sindh is being improved at a cost of more than one billion rupees. Jam Ikramullah Dharejo

Karachi (HRNW) Provincial Minister for Industries and Co-operative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that the infrastructure is being improved in the industrial zones of Sindh at a cost of more than one billion rupees. Roads in site are being improved at a cost of Rs 27 crore. Necessary staff will be provided to operate fire station in the site area while two flyovers have been sanctioned for Site Association Karachi. He said this today while addressing a meeting on the occasion of his visit to Site Association Karachi. On this occasion, Secretary Industries and Commerce Abdul Rasheed Solangi and MD Site Tariq Khokhar were also with the provincial minister. Office bearers of the site association apprised the provincial minister about the development works at the site.
Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo further said that the Sindh government has constructed roads in the site area at a cost of Rs 27 crore. Development works costing more than one billion rupees are being done in the industrial zones of Sindh. He said that the involvement of site association office bearers will be ensured in the development works in site. All possible steps are being taken to restore infrastructure in industrial zones. Development in the province is not possible without the support of industrialists.

Provincial Minister for Industries Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that a comprehensive water supply and drainage plan is also being given by the Sindh government. If Sindh is given its share, Karachi’s Industries will develop further. Sindh is the largest gas producing province. Industrialists are worried due to gas and electricity loadshedding, the federal government should take steps to solve this problem.
