KARACHI (HRNW) Police clashed with street criminals in Timuriya limits. As a result of two-way firing, a bandit was arrested in an injured condition.
Citizen Imran son of Rashid was withdrawing cash from a bank ATM at Five Star Chowrangi while the accused robbed the citizen inside the ATM.
The motorcycle-riding policemen rushed outside the ATM after being informed about the presence of robbers and tried to arrest the accused as he came out.
As soon as the accused came out, he started firing at the policemen. The accused was injured by the retaliatory fire of the police, who was arrested by the police. The arrested accused was identified as Ahmed son of Khurshid. 1 TT pistol, 30 bore load magazine, 2 mobile phones, 1 wallet and 1 motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.
