KARACHI (HRNW) Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said on Wednesday Murtaza Bhutto was killed as part of a heinous conspiracy against democracy in the country.
In his message on Murtaza Bhutto’s death anniversary, the former foreign minister said Murtaza’s democratic thinking and struggle for people’s rights throughout his life was a beacon of hope for those who follow democratic norms in the country.
He stressed the sacrifices made by the Bhutto family for the political and democratic freedoms and economic rights of the people were unparalleled. Murtaza Bhutto’s sacrifice would not go in vain, he added.
The PPP chief pledged to make the country an ideal place for democratic culture by following the thinking of Murtaza Bhutto.
