Those who conspired against Nawaz cannot face public today: Maryam

LAHORE (HRNW) Pakistan Muslim League-N chief organiser and senior vice president Maryam Nawaz said on Wednesday whoever conspired against Nawaz Sharif was scared of facing the public today.

Speaking at a ceremony, Maryam said that in 100 days, the voice of the party leader had reached every nook and corner. What could be happier than that, she remarked.

“We are happy that the children have gathered here,” she said.

Maryam said that during the Musharraf era, her father was kept in jail and her mother stepped out. “This path was not easy for me either. I have spent five months in the death cell and attended about 200 summons. I was arrested in front of my father in Lahore,” she added.

The PML-N leader said, “Today you are a nuclear power and as long as Pakistan exists, you will be a nuclear power.”

Let’s see any project the PTI chairman had started, she taunted. “I am happy that the people of Peshawar also have a metro bus service. All the projects of Pakistan are because of Nawaz Sharif,” she said.

She said when Nawaz Sharif got the government in 2013, the country was facing hours-long loadshedding and finally he fixed the issue. During the four years of Nawaz Sharif’s government, the dollar remained stable at Rs97.98.

Nawaz Sharif was expelled on Iqama case and the country had not been able to get back to its feet since then.

“Neither I believe in revenge nor does Nawaz Sharif. Those who conspired against Nawaz Sharif today are not able to go out in public. God willing, Nawaz Sharif is coming back to Pakistan on Oct 21,” she concluded.
