Kemari police raid in Prana Golimar, 6 accused arrested

KARACHI (HRNW) District Kemari Police conducted a raid on information about the presence of gang war/drug dealers in Parana Golimar. After a fierce exchange of fire between the accused and the police, 06 accused were arrested.
According to SSP Kemari Captain (Rtd) Faizan Ali, the arrested accused were identified as 1- Abdul Salam, 2- Irfan, 3- Aamir, 4- Babar, 5- Shoaib and 6- Owais.
More than one kg of crystal, ice, crack, drug packing equipment and digital scale, 04 pistols, ammunition, 08 motorcycles, 05 tablets, 08 mobile phones and 2500 rupees in cash were also recovered from the possession of the arrested accused.
The arrested accused were involved in serious crimes and were wanted by the police.
The accused are also involved in gang warfare activities including operating a drug network in Old Golimar, Jehanabad.
The arrested accused Abdul Salam is the brother of notorious gangster Sohail Mulla and brother-in-law of Uzair Baloch.
When the police party led by SHO Pak Colony Sub-Inspector Raja Khalid Mehmood arrived to arrest the accused, the accused opened fire on the police party with the intention of killing them.
The criminal records of all the arrested accused are being checked. Cases are being registered against the accused and further investigation is going on.
