Dusseldorf (dpa) – Cologne midfielder Florian Kainz has left his team’s training camp in Austria due to a knee problem, the Bundesliga club said Wednesday.
The 27-year-old Austrian international will have an MRI scan to diagnose his injury.
Cologne face fellow Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in a friendly on Saturday and begin the new league season at home to Hoffenheim on September 19.
