SU students grabs 2nd, 3rd positions in insect painting competition held at national level

JAMSHORO: (HRNW) The students of department of zoology, University of Sindh Iqbal Siyal and Daniyal Nawaz after winning the second and third positions in the insect painting competition held at Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam at the national level, called on the vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro who felicitated them on their achievement.

In the event, the MSc final student Iqbal Sial of department of zoology, Sindh University, bagged the second position in the national insect painting competition.

As many as 175 students from different universities of the country were part of the contest.

Similarly, Danyal Nawaz, a BS final-year student in zoology department of the University of Sindh, grabbed the third position in the insect display box competition out of 45 students who came all the way from different universities.

Iqbal Siyal and Daniyal Nawaz were awarded certificates of appreciation and cash prize on the occasion for their positions.

After the success, grabbed in the exhibition, Iqbal Siyal and Danyal Nawaz reached the VC office, where they called on Dr Kalhoro who congratulated them on their thrilling finish in the competition.

The vice chancellor said that he was very happy to see that the students of the University of Sindh were striving to brighten the name of their Alma Mater at the national level.

On this occasion, he gave away the certificates and cash prize to both of the students and advised them to continue hard-working.
