Bilal Colony police foiled the smuggling of Chhalia and Gutkamawa

Karachi (HRNW) Bilal Colony Police Station in a major operation foiled smuggling of large quantity of Chhalia and Gutkamawa from Balochistan. According to the police, the operation was carried out on a tip-off and the accused was signaled to stop at the intersection. The accused resisted arrest and kept hitting the police mobile with his car. Instead of stopping the car, the accused tried to drive over the police party.
Police cordoned off the car and arrested one accused while the other escaped. The arrested accused was identified as Zakir Ali son of Maula Bakhsh. Police recovered 400 kg of Chhalia, 100 kg of Gutkamawa, a pistol, 32 bore loaded magazine and a Toyota Corolla from his possession. The accused is under investigation and raids are being carried out to nab the fugitive accused. Cases of illegal arms, resistance to government and Gutkamawa Act were registered against the accused and handed over for investigation.
