Mehran Town tragedy: Matters of Diyat money settled

Karachi (HRNW) In the Mehran Town tragedy case, the issue of payment of Diyat was settled between the accused and the heirs.

The landlord and factory owner will pay Rs 42 lakh each to the heirs.

The heirs say that the factory owner will pay 60% and the landlord 40%. Initially, checks of Rs. 10, 10 lakh will be given. The entire amount of Diyat will be paid within two years.

Nine people were killed in a fire at a factory in Mehran Town.
