KARACHI: (HRNW) Commissioner Karachi has directed measures to curb inflation in the month of Ramadan. Iqbal Memon has warned that profiteers will be arrested and fined while shops will be sealed.
Talking to media, Commissioner Karachi clarified that the Bureau of Supply and Prices and Assistant Commissioners have been directed to take action to curb inflation during Ramadan.
Iqbal Memon has appealed to the citizens to inform about the sellers of goods at exorbitant prices through website and complaint cell.
Commissioner Karachi said that rates of tandoori bread are also being fixed and notification will be issued soon.
