Peshawar (HRNW) FIA Cybercrime Peshawar arrested three more accused who were campaigning against Pakistan Army on social media.
According to FIA, the accused have been arrested in three different areas of Haripur, Butgram and Havelian. The accused had created social media accounts and posted insulting remarks during the last six months.
The FI has arrested many accused including 12 central accused involved in the nefarious campaign and has sought permission from the Home Ministry to arrest a retired major.
Notices have been sent to 2,200 accused involved in the campaign, while cases have been registered against many.
According to FIA sources, 3 from Lahore, 4 from Faisalabad, 2 accused from Gujranwala while 5 from Karachi, Islamabad and DI Khan have also been arrested.
