MQM ignored in last 15 years: Farooq Sattar

KARACHI: (HRNW) Farooq Sattar said Monday that during the last 15 years of Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) rule, MQM was badly ignored adding that it has been difficult to unite all factions of MQM till January 15.

He while exclusively talking to  News Channel said that it has been crucial to dig Karachi out of deprivation for the stability of Pakistan.

Farooq Sattar also said that he has been ready to work under Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui but it would be difficult to unite the factions.

While touching on the matter of the PPP-MQM row, he said that the ruling PPP has neglected the city during the last 15 years of governance and new records of corruption have been set.

Farooq Sattar said that many development works have not been done in Karachi and street crime is a major cause of frustration among the youth, but if this city is not removed from deprivation, the country will be unstable.
